Privacy Policy

Feature Creature Chess (chess.readynowknow.com) is operated by Small Digital Albums LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game collects and how it is used.

What we store

• On your device: the game saves a random player ID, your last online room code and a few display settings (for example, coordinates on/off) in your browser's local storage or cookies. This lets you rejoin a room after refreshing. No name or account is needed.
• Online rooms: when you create or join a room, the game state (board, moves and the random player IDs of the seats) is stored on our server as a small file. Rooms are deleted automatically after 3 days without activity.
• Contact messages: if you use the contact form, we store the name, email and message you send, plus the date, so we can reply. Messages are kept privately on the server and deleted when no longer needed.
• Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and maintenance.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown.

Music players

The game page can show a music station from a service such as Spotify, YouTube or SoundCloud. The player only loads after you press Open player, and from then on that service's own privacy policy and cookies apply to the player (for YouTube we use its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com mode). The game remembers whether you left the player open on your device.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and doesn't ask for personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

• You can clear the game's stored data at any time by clearing this site's cookies and local storage in your browser.
• You can ask us to delete a contact message you sent by contacting us.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Use the contact page.
